Artists Bernice Williams, Katie Pell, Alex Rubio, Luis Valderas, Hebron Chism and Paul Karam inked up and printed their woodcut prints at San Antonio’s 3rd annual steamroller printmaking event, Building Up Steam!

The steamroller was used to make large scale woodcut prints in the parking lot of Blue Star Contemporary Arts Complex on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While onlookers watched, artists and dozens of volunteers slaved in the hot sun to make the artist's big visions come alive.

The prints will be in the CAM exhibition,

Gi-Normous Prints!  in July and August at the StoneMetal Press Printmaking Center.
